Maksim Zagornov, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE, took part in an extended meeting between Dmitry Livanov, Head of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with the officials of Khalifa University.
The event was held as part of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to the United Arab Emirates.
On March 8, the Russian delegation headed by Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation had a meeting with Ahmad bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, the UAE Minister of Education, Sarah Al Amiri, the UAE Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology and Sara Musallam, the UAE Minister of State for Early Education, in Abu Dhabi. The parties discussed issues of the Russian-Emirati cooperation in the field of higher education and science.
Moreover, the Russian delegation visited Khalifa University of Science and Technology. The current issues related to the interaction between the two universities were discussed at the meeting with the participation of Dmitry Livanov, Head of MIPT and Maksim Zagornov, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE.
Special attention was paid to implementing a joint project of the hydrogen testing ground construction.
The project, which provides for the construction of a unique joint laboratory to operate independently using hydrogen and renewable energy sources, is being implemented with the organizational and technical support of Maksim Zagornov, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE and MKC for Power Solutions.
As Dmitry Livanov noted, this project is one of the most significant MIPT international projects of today.
During the official visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Russian delegation visited the Russian School in Abu Dhabi, met with the heads of the education committees of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, visited the Synergy University Brunch and met with the heads of the leading UAE universities.
