Gulfood 2023 has a record number of participants

Gulfood 2023, the 28th International Food, Beverage, and Culinary Exhibition of the Persian Gulf Countries, was successfully held in Dubai.This year, the exhibition gathered a record number of participants.Over 5,000 companies from 125 countries exhibited at Gulfood 2023.It is 30% more compared to the last years.

According to Statista data announced at Gulfood 2023, the UAE food and beverage market generates revenue about 38 billion dollars and is projected to grow at the rate of 4.39% annually till 2027. F&B market is one of the fast growing markets.

One of the Gulfood 2023 main topics was sustainable development.

This year, Gulfood Green, a new global initiative focused on promoting more sustainable food production and consumption, zero food waste, healthy eating habits and search for sustainable ingredients, was launched.

Two new events, Gulfood Green and Gulfood Agrotech, dedicated to intelligent agricultural technologies were also announced and will be held on September 24-26.
