As part of the strategy, it is planned to help 100 Dubai companies enter the international market by the end of 2024 through participating in the international trade missions.
It also complies with the New Horizons Initiative launched earlier this year aiming to foster growth of companies abroad and to increase the volume of non-oil foreign trade up to AED 2 trillion ($544.5 billion) by 2026.
This year, the first seminars and trade missions were already held in Central Asia, Great Britain and South Africa. Over 550 business meetings were arranged to strengthen international cooperation. Offsite events are planned to be held in Asia, Europe, East and West Africa. The Baltic Sea Region, Southeast Asian countries and Turkey are planned to be visited in 2024.
