Business Russia is forming a fundamental business mission to WETEX-2021 in Dubai

The all-Russian public organization Business Russia is forming a fundamental business mission to the 23rd International Exhibition on Water Management and Treatment, Energy Production and Environmental Protection WETEX-2021. The event will be held in the grounds of the World Exhibition EXPO-2020 in Dubai on October 5-7. The Exhibition will be opened on October 1 and become the most anticipated world event. WETEX-2021 will be the first specialized exhibition at EXPO-2020 and will provide its participants with unique opportunities to establish direct business contacts with partners from all over the world.

The business mission to the United Arab Emirates will be organized by the business Ambassador of Business Russia in the UAE, the President of the Distributed Power Generation Association Maksim Zagornov. At WETEX-2021 Business Russia will present a unified stand of the member companies of the business association and hold a series of strategic meetings and negotiations with representatives of government, industry, and business structures of the UAE. The location of WETEX-2021 on the territory of the World Exhibition will allow the participants of the business mission to reach a larger number of interested parties (investors, equipment manufacturers, experts) and become a part of the largest event of global importance – EXPO–2020.

At present, WETEX and the Dubai Solar Show are among the most authoritative energy-related exhibitions in the world. They are annually held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. WETEX and Dubai Solar Show organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). Every year, WETEX brings together experts from around the world in areas such as energy, water technology, ecology, and green development. In 2019, WETEX attracted over 2500 exhibitors and 10000 delegates from 55 countries. For the first time in the history of WETEX Business Russia also presented its stand.

In 2019, the business delegation of Business Russia at WETEX included 16 entrepreneurs. In the framework of the unified stand they introduced the innovative developments and technologies, and held more than 60 meetings and negotiations. The stand of Business Russia was the most visited among the expositions of the Russian pavilion and attracted the attention of the leaders of the Emirati organizations and representatives of the international media. In the whole, the participation of Business Russia in WETEX 2019 was successful.

Over the past two years, Business Russia has strengthened its position in the UAE: Memorandums of Cooperation were signed with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, the second representative office of the Business Russia business Ambassador in the UAE was opened in Abu Dhabi, the Russian Trade House in the free economic zone Kizad is at the launch stage. Participation in the WETEX-2021 exhibition will be another important step to strengthen the position of Business Russia and promote the interests of industry companies of the business association in the Emirati market.
